Ads on Maps

Privacy Policy

Effective August 21, 2026

This policy explains what Ads on Maps collects when you use adsonmaps.net, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. Ads on Maps is a service operated by Little Tough LLC, a company registered in the United States ("we," "us," "our"). We are an independent service and are not affiliated with Apple Inc.

What we collect

We only collect what you type into a form on this site.

  • Waitlist form: your email address.
  • Founding client application: your email address, business name, business category, number of locations, and city and state.
  • Technical data attached to a submission: the date and time of your submission, and a one-way hash of your IP address. The hash lets us detect spam and abuse. It cannot be reversed back into your IP address.

We do not use advertising cookies, we do not sell data to advertisers, and we do not collect payment details on this site. We do use analytics, which is described in the next section.

Analytics

We use two analytics tools, and we would rather over-explain them than have you guess.

Cloudflare Web Analytics

Counts page views. It is cookieless, it does not fingerprint you, and it does not follow you between sites. It reports aggregate figures such as how many people visited a page and roughly where in the world they were.

Google Analytics 4

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used, so we know which explanations are working and which are not. It records things like which pages you view, how far down a page you scroll, which questions you open, and whether you submit a form. It sets first party cookies, normally named _ga and _ga_<id>, which distinguish one browser from another for up to two years.

We have configured it as narrowly as the product allows:

  • Advertising storage, advertising user data, and ad personalisation are all set to denied, so the data is not used to build advertising audiences.
  • Google Analytics 4 uses your IP address to approximate your location and does not store it.
  • We do not send your email address or any other identifying detail to Google. Form events record only which form was used, never what you typed into it.

Google acts as our processor for this data and also processes it under its own terms. You can read how Google uses data from sites that use its services, and you can opt out of Google Analytics entirely in any browser using Google's opt-out add-on. Blocking cookies in your browser, or using a content blocker, also stops it, and nothing on this site breaks if you do.

Anti-spam checks

Our forms include a hidden field that real visitors never fill in, and they may use Cloudflare Turnstile, a privacy-preserving alternative to a CAPTCHA. These checks exist to keep automated submissions out of our list.

How we use your information

  • To send you the setup guides, benchmarks, and product updates you asked for.
  • To reply to a founding client application and discuss working together.
  • To keep our list clean and free of automated signups.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not share it with Apple.

Who processes your data

Your submission is stored in a Cloudflare D1 database, and this site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Usage analytics are processed by Cloudflare and by Google, as described above. If we connect an email service provider, your email address and the details above are also stored there so we can send you the emails you requested. These companies act as our service providers and process the data on our instructions.

Data may be stored and processed in the United States. If you are in Canada or elsewhere, submitting a form means your information will be transferred to the United States.

Email rules we follow

CAN-SPAM (United States)

Every marketing email we send identifies who it is from, includes a valid postal address for Little Tough LLC, uses a subject line that reflects the contents, and carries a working unsubscribe link. We honor unsubscribe requests promptly and in all cases within ten business days.

CASL (Canada)

If you are in Canada, we send you commercial email only after you have given us express consent by submitting one of the forms on this site. That consent is what the form is for, and the form makes clear what you are signing up for. Every message identifies Little Tough LLC, gives our contact information, and includes an unsubscribe mechanism that stays valid for at least sixty days after the message is sent. We act on withdrawal of consent within ten business days. We keep a record of when and how you gave consent.

How long we keep it

We keep waitlist and application records for as long as we operate the service or until you ask us to delete them, whichever comes first. When you unsubscribe, we keep a minimal suppression record so that we do not email you again by mistake.

Your choices and rights

  • Unsubscribe from any email using the link in that email.
  • Ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it.
  • Withdraw your consent to marketing email at any time.

Email hello@adsonmaps.net and we will handle it. We will not charge you and we will not make it difficult. If you are a California resident, note that we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA.

Children

This site is for business owners. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Security

Traffic to this site is encrypted with TLS. Access to the database is limited to people who need it to run the service. No system is perfectly secure, so we do not promise that it is.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the effective date at the top. If the change is significant and you are on our list, we will tell you by email.
